- Cumin seeds- 1.5 tea spoon
- Nigella seeds- 1.5 tea spoon
- Fenugreek seeds- 1.5 tea spoon
- Black mustard- 1 tea spoon
- Yellow mustard seeds- 1 tea spoon
- Turmeric powder- 1 tea spoon
- Lemon juice- 1 large
- Green chillies- 4
- Garlic cloves- 6
- Piece of ginger root- 3
- Cilli powder- ¼ tea spoon
- Himalayan pink salt- ¼ tea spoon
- Coconut oil- 2 table spoon
- Tomatoes large- 2
- Onion medium size- 2
- Chicken – 500 gms
- Coconut milk- 250 gms
- Coriander leaves roughly chopped- large bunch
Take a pan and dry fry cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds to slightly brown colour. Then remove the two tea spoon of mix and keep it for later use. Grind the remaining mix into a fine powder and add a ¼ tea spoon of turmeric. Add the ginger garlic paste into the mixture. Finally, add lemon juice to the mixture and make a fine paste. slice the chilli into half slits and fill the paste into it keep it aside and hold the remaining paste. grind the ginger garlic, chilli powder and ¼ tea spoon of turmeric and add salt to the paste.
Place a pan and melt the coconut oil and add the ginger and garlic paste and fry well. Add the onions and tomatoes and cook well. Add the chicken and all the remaining roasted seeds paste and coconut milk. Cook in low heat. Sprinkle the roasted seeds and the stuffed chillies. And stir it well. Finally, add the coriander seeds. Your paleo style chicken achari is ready to serve.
