Strengthening of pelvic muscles with kegel exercise supports the urethra, vagina, uterus, bladder, and rectum. How is the kegel exercise done?
To perform the Kegel exercise first you must control your urine by pulling in and squeezing pelvic floor muscles. When you squeeze hold for 10 seconds and followed by rest for 10 seconds. Repeat this for three times every day.
Where should you do this kegel exercise?
You can do this exercise anywhere even at your desk, watching TV or during breaks. No need for any equipment to do this exercise. Some physical trainers may recommend weighted cones to perform the Kegel exercise. Sometimes this exercise is done in combination with the biofeedback and electric stimulation. The biofeedback monitors the control over the bodily process such as the urinary control and electric stimulation is done to encourage the muscle activity in the pelvic area.
Some experience changes very fast within few weeks but for others, it will take some time but this will definitely work.
